Not Just Walking

What does it mean when someone walks down a building or walks sideways on a wall? Could it just be an attention grabber, interrupting the routine of people’s mundane, everyday lives? Most would seek the symbolic power that is displayed, shifting their perspective from the mundane to the extraordinary. Walking in a way no human is able and making it look casual isn’t seen every day. Taking it to the public or documenting privately is irrelevant to the internal meaning, only the presence it has among the viewing public. Making people think, striking emotion and stirring the pot of opinions derived from interpretations is the mission to accomplish.

Seeing things from a different perspective is something that fuels society and broadens the landscape of our minds. Most things in life are subject to their own connotation, either positive or negative. As some close their minds and only allow what they know or believe to be the ruling mindset, they tend to have the tunnel vision in a black and white light lacking grey. Seeing things in various shades of grey is a crucial process and that is a clear interpretation of seeing things in a different light, a different perspective
.

So what kinds of afterthoughts result from the various interpretations here? Would someone keep it at a mental level or “elevate” themselves physically. Would they mimic the symbolism and attempt to discover something in them or simply analyze and utilize what they’ve been thinking? A different light or perspective of just walking? Walking is just an example of infinite possibilities that exist. Anything can be seen differently and everything has more than one side even though many of us consider something to be one dimensional.

Being trapped in a single dimension is such a ridiculous thing when knowing an internal jail has been created. It needs to broaden and expand yet it can only develop into a bubble increasing in size. Complexity fuels the thoughts of change and subjectivity but this circular orb is constantly filled with more of the same. No world can thrive or persist in a single dimension and if it takes climbing down a vertical building or walking sideways along a wall then may it enlighten the masses. These demonstrations have shown us you can do things differently, although with a little help. However, one must help themselves break out their shell first, so they can apply this idea of different perspectives into their mundane lives.

If walking sideways shows people that an everyday, mundane activity can be made interesting then they should realize that a slight change or tweak to the normal can create something special. However, Fear may hinder the tweak or change and hold back the close minded from such actions. One should not accuse just the close minded for being fearful because the open minded may have faced fear and overcame it. Wouldn’t fear hinder these demonstrations due to the physical risks and various things that may go wrong, especially in that time? They overcame natural fears and that should inspire others to also overcome in order to break the threshold and finally see things differently. A fulfilling and satisfying experience for both viewer and walker is an accomplishment for the mind.

In a nightmare, I keep walking in this single dimension and realize how much is missing. One direction, one train of thought and only one solution to a single problem, escape. This dimension has one ideal, one belief, no alternatives or options to explore and none to disagree or argue. Only one light and one perspective exist while entrapped in this unwanted realm of singularity and monotony. There are some who choose to be this way, may it be for safety or laziness to progress their ideas toward the new. These people would never dream of walking sideways or down a building, they will not overcome their fear of change and unfamiliarity. Some people dream of walking straight their whole lives and see things their own way because that’s all they want to know.
